McKellar takes double, Vergers the series lead.
- Ian McKellar Jnr continued his tradition of taking win doubles with victory in the NASN 90, round 10 of the SCSA Championship at Rockingham. But he had to work hard for his victory, Michael Vergers pressuring him all the way and taking the championship lead after closest rival Stevie Hodgson became the latest victim of a day of Troquespeed handling problems.

- Ian McKellar Jnr's late season SCSA Championship bid continued apace in the first race of Thunder Sunday 5 at Rockingham, McKellar beating off title rivals Stevie Hodgson and Michael Vergers to win the Irwin 90. But the race brought more heartache for John Mickel, a serious handling problem making his early season dominance seem a distant memory.

Dance comes out on top in Pickup classic.
- THE second SCSA Pickup round of Thunder Sunday 5 proved the race of the year, except for series leader Paul Poulter who saw his title aspirations wrecked by an early trip to the wall. Steve Dance took his second win of the day after fighting off team-mate Kelly-Jayne Wells and at times it seemed half the field.
